Paras Kaul explores applications that utilize brainwave technology for interactive gaming that trains the brain for learning and rehabilitation. Using brainwave analysis, multimedia, and biofeedback, she produces exciting and fun gaming prototypes and posits that morphing brainwaves to low frequency coherence stimulates well-being in the mind and body.

Paras has held professional internships at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and Real Time Design in Chicago. As a production assistant at Digital Effects, Inc. in NY, she handled post production operations for computer animation. In Mississippi, as an assistant professor in a Graduate Program for Electronic Visualization, she founded a professional chapter of the Special Interest Group for Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. Paras also has 10 years of web communications, project management, supervisory and online marketing experience in University Relations at George Mason University where she was a director and member of the Senior Management Team. At Mason, she also held committee positions in policy-making, accessibility, and strategic planning committees for the Information Technology Unit. She has authored website content, honored 508 accessibility compliance, and designed and produced websites since 1994. Additionally, Paras has published peer-reviewed articles on brainwave learning and gaming and has been an invited speaker to France, Australia, and the UK. She was the recipient of an Outstanding Achievement Award at Mason in 2005.
